I love teaching children to read and write. I have been working in Prince William County Schools for 19 years. Working with my students always brings me great joy. I reached the goal of certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2008, which involves a rigorous process of reflecting on my teaching and submitting portfolio entries, as well as testing. I am always anxious to communicate with parents and teachers so that the literacy needs of students at Swans Creek are met.
